40 is To Many
Another year has come around,
A circle completed in life’s vast dance,
With echoes of laughter, whispers of dreams,
We gather to honor time’s fleeting chance.
The candles flicker, a soft glow of hope,
Each flame a memory, a story retold,
In the warmth of voices, we find our place,
As moments unroll like threads of gold.
We reflect on the paths that have shaped us,
The joys, the sorrows, the loves that remain,
For life is a tapestry woven together,
A blend of sunshine, and shadow, and rain.
Here in this gathering, hearts intertwine,
In shared silences, and laughter’s bright sound,
The dance of the years weaves courage and strife,
In the embrace of the present, our spirits are found.
So let us raise a glass to the journey,
To the fleeting days that enrich our soul,
For every heartbeat is a gift bestowed,
Each second a treasure, making us whole.
With gratitude, we toast to tomorrow,
To the dreams still ahead, yet to unfold,
In the fabric of time, we are threads intertwined,
Celebrating the beauty of life, brave and bold.
