Can't Stop

Listen here, my child,
Life’s a rugged climb,
It’s not a smooth path,
With ease and shine.

It’s a staircase steep,
Full of splinters and turns,
No crystal railings,
Just the lessons learned.

I’ve climbed this path,
Through shadows and strife,
Faced storms and darkness,
But I keep up the fight.

I may stumble and fall,
But I’ll get back on my feet.
For this is my journey,
And I won’t accept defeat.

So when times are tough,
And the road seems long,
Remember my words,
Stay sturdy and strong.

Keep climbing, my dear,
Though the way may be rough,
You’ll find your own light—
You are more than enough.
