If One Day Someone

If one day someone were to look deeply at my soul,
Peering beyond the surface where shadows often play,
They might uncover the fragments that make me whole,
The dreams and the fears that have shaped my way.

Perhaps they’d see the quiet longing of my heart,
The hopes tucked away like secrets in a chest,
Or the echoes of laughter that dance in the dark,
A symphony of moments that seldom find rest.

If one day someone were to grasp my silent cries,
The burdens I carry, the weight of my thoughts,
They’d recognize the beauty in my complex ties,
In the tapestry woven from battles I’ve fought.

They might glimpse the softness beneath my sturdy guise,
The flicker of light in the depths of my pain,
Understanding the struggle, the courage to rise,
Finding strength in the cracks that allow love to reign.

In the stillness of dusk, where reflections collide,
A soul laid bare in honesty, seeking to be known,
If they extend their hand, inviting me inside,
I’d share with them fragments, the seeds of my own.

If one day someone were to listen without doubt,
To the stories kept hidden in the creases of time,
They’d find a companion in the journey laid out,
A shared exploration, a rhythm, a rhyme.

For in the act of knowing, we shatter the walls,
Each revelation a bridge that brings us near,
In the dance of connection, where understanding calls,
We learn that together, we can conquer our fear.

So should someone come searching for what lies within,
May they find the truth that binds us all in grace,
In the shared human experience, where love can begin,
A testament to living, a heartfelt embrace.
