Letter to my Mother

In the quiet of dawn, I feel your presence,
A soft light woven through the fabric of my days,
Your hands, gentle as the morning breeze,
Carved pathways of hope in a world so vast.

You are the whisper of the trees,
Rooted deep in the heart of my memories,
Each laugh we shared like a petal unfurling,
Each tear a testament to love that never wanes.

Through shadows and sunlight, you’ve guided me,
A compass through storms, a harbor of grace,
The echoes of your voice still linger near,
Singing lullabies that cradle my heart.

I remember the warmth of your embrace,
As you spun dreams from the threads of your care,
Teaching me the beauty in every moment,
To find joy even in the quiet despair.

You are the strength in my fragile moments,
The laughter that dances at the edge of my soul,
In every triumph, your spirit shines brightly,
In every struggle, your wisdom makes me whole.

Though time may carve lines upon our faces,
And seasons may drift like clouds in the sky,
Your love remains a steady horizon,
A light that will guide me as days pass by.

So here, in this space where words take flight,
I offer my gratitude, simple and true,
For the love that has nourished my spirit,
For the gift of your heart—forever, it’s you.
