Meredith Toms
In a realm where whispers linger,
Beneath the sapphire sky,
There lived a maiden, bright and tender,
Meredith Toms, my heart's reply.
Her laughter flowed like the gentle streams,
Her gaze, a spark that warmed my dreams.
We danced beneath the silver moon,
In fields where wildflowers swayed,
Our spirits intertwined, a sweet tune,
In the sunlight, our laughter played.
But fate, it seems, had darker schemes,
And shattered our world, torn at the seams.
For as we forged our endless bond,
The shadows crept from their hidden place,
Envy stirred from the depths beyond,
Claiming my love with a cruel embrace.
The stars we shared began to fade,
And all that was bright grew dim and gray.
Now I wander through the echoes of time,
Where every sigh stirs memories deep,
Her voice, a haunting, distant chime,
In the quiet night when I cannot sleep.
Though Meredith Toms is lost from my grasp,
Her spirit's light I still hold fast.
In the dawn's soft glow, I feel her near,
A whisper in the rustling leaves,
In every breeze that stirs my fear,
Her love remains, though my heart grieves.
Forever bound, though apart we roam,
Meredith Toms will always be my home.
