Voyage Through Shadows

In the depths of night, beneath the stern,
The vessel groans, a hollowed shell of fate.
Chained souls whisper stories of despair,
As ocean waves cradle their burdened weight.

Across the vast, unyielding sea they glide,
An echo of a world, now lost in time,
Where freedom’s light is but a distant dream,
And hope remains sealed within silent rhyme.

The darkened holds, where fear and sorrow swell,
Where chains rattle like the ghosts of the past,
They bear the weight of history’s cruel hand,
Each breath a testament, each heartbeat vast.

Still, in the shadows, a flicker of strength ignites,
Through grit and grace, they reach for the sky—
A memory of home, a cry for the lost,
Their spirits unbroken, they refuse to die.

For though the sea may claim their weary form,
And storms may churn the depths of their despair,
Their stories weave a tapestry of life,
A testament to love that still lingers in air.

In the journey’s end, in this passage so grim,
Compassion rises, and the truth shall unfold—
From chains to freedom, from darkness to light,
The legacy of courage, a story told.
